Founded in 2007, NOVAKEN, a pharmaceutical company located in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, is surrounded with beautiful environment and strong humanistic atmosphere. Covering over 2000 m2 of land for experimental use at present, our company focuses on drug R&D, CRO services and outcome transformation. This high-tech enterprise was operated by experienced researchers and managers returning from the United States. Over 35% of R&D personnel have a master’s or doctoral degree. Experienced in R&D, they are familiar with domestic and foreign regulations and technical requirements for drug registration.

Since its establishment, our company has been committed to the development of innovative preparations. We have developed six major technology platforms for drug sustained controlled release, insoluble drugs, gel release, microsphere industrialization, microneedles, and pulmonary drug delivery. Having mastered the most advanced technology of drug sustained controlled release, we have achieved breakthroughs for innovative preparations in China. At present, our company has filed over 30 patent applications for inventions and 2 for utility models. We have 10 patents for key technology inventions and 2 approvals for drug clinical trials. Also, our company has undertaken six scientific and technological research projects included in the National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program) and Guangdong Plan for Combination of Production, Education, and Research. At the same time, our company has been awarded the following honors: Second Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award; Guangdong Innovative Enterprise (Pilot); Guangzhou R&D Corporate Institution; Guangzhou Institution for Scientific and Technological Innovation Services.

We always put our customers first and focus on innovative R&D. Adhering to this principle, we have gradually refined the system for R&D labor division and stayed committed to cooperation between industrial production, education, and research. Since its founding, our company has established scientific research consortiums with colleges and universities such as Sun Yat-sen University and Jinan University.
